Fitment attribute combinations - Automobile fitment search

The Fitment Attribute Combinations section allows the store administrator to create and manage unique combinations of fitment attributes such as Make, Model, and Year.

These combinations define specific vehicle configurations (for example, Toyota Corolla 2018 or Ford Mustang 2020) that can later be linked to compatible products.

By managing fitment combinations, the system ensures that customers can filter and find products based on their exact vehicle match.

This section displays a searchable list of all existing vehicle combinations.

Search and Filter Options

You can use the search bar at the top of the page to locate specific combinations by filtering through the following criteria:

• Name: Search by combination name (e.g., Corolla 2018).
• Make / Model / Year: Filter by specific attribute values.
• Published: Filter by published or unpublished status.

After selecting the desired filters, click Search to view matching results.

Adding a New Fitment Attribute Combination

To create a new combination: Click Add new on the Fitment Combinations list page. The Add a New Fitment Attribute Combination page will open.

Info Section: This section allows you to define the key details of the combination.

• Name: Enter a descriptive name for the combination (e.g., Toyota Corolla 2018).
• Published: Check this box to make the combination active and visible for use.
• Make: Select the vehicle manufacturer (e.g., Toyota, Ford, BMW) from the dropdown list. The available options are fetched from previously defined Fitment Attributes → Values.
• Model: Choose the vehicle model (e.g., Corolla, Mustang, X5) based on the selected make.
• Year: Select the production year of the vehicle (e.g., 2018, 2020, 2023).

Applied to Products Section

Once the combination is saved, you can assign products that are compatible with that vehicle setup. Click Add a new product. A popup window will appear allowing you to search and select products.

Popup Filters

• Product Name: Search by product name or keyword.
• Category: Filter by product category.
• Product Type: Filter by simple or grouped product types.
• Manufacturer / Vendor: Filter products from specific brands or vendors.

Select one or more products using the checkboxes.

Click Save to link the selected products with the fitment combination. This means these products will now appear when a customer searches for parts for a Toyota Corolla 2018.
