Manage product license

Introduction

All our plugins and themes including free ones need license key to run properly on your nopCommerce store. Without a license registration, the plugins including theme plugins will expire and cease to work after 10 working days. The default mode of our products is Trial so they function properly with all features during the trial mode.

This guide covers step by step process to activate and manage product license for the NopAdvance themes and plugins.

Obtaining License Key

When you order a theme or plugin on NopAdvance store, you receive a license key in a text file. You can download this license key by clicking the link to download the license key, in your order completed email or you can also download the required license key file from the My account > Downloadable products section on NopAdvance store.

A license key file is a text file which contains the license key for the ordered products and shall me named like License_[NUMBERS].txt.

Registering License

In order to register and activate a license, we make a REST API call to a method on our website https://store.nopadvance.com. A license, once registered, cannot be used on another nopCommerce application unless de-registered from the previous application, meaning that a license key can be registered and activated only on a single nopCommerce application at a time.

If you already have a license key and installed our plugins in your nopCommerce store, please navigate to your nopCommerce administrator panel and click on NopAdvance > Licensing in your nopCommerce store admin menu.

Clicking on the Licensing menu item, opens a page to manage your NopAdvance product license(s) as shown in the below image. This is where you use the license key to register your copy of NopAdvance plugin(s) including the NopAdvance theme plugin(s).

Click on Register button and provide the license key to register license for a plugin. This action calls an API on our store website where it validates the domain and the license key.

Once a license key is registered, it cannot be used on another nopCommerce application unless manually de-registered. The button to de-register license is displayed in place of Register after the license has been successfully registered.
