Installation and configuration - Advanced Topic Pages

The Advanced Topic Pages Plugin enhances nopCommerce’s default topic management system with advanced features such as collections, tokens, and responsive topic display.

⚙️ Note:
The nopCommerce Topic Pages Plugin requires you to first install the NopAdvance.Core plugin as a prerequisite for its operation.
Please refer to the official nopCommerce documentation or your plugin installation guide for detailed steps on how to install a plugin before proceeding with this setup.

Once the plugin has been successfully installed, a new menu section will appear under your admin panel:
NopAdvance → Plugins → Enhanced Topic Pages

This section contains three key options to help you configure and manage the plugin efficiently.

  1. Configure: This is where you enable or disable the plugin.Once enabled, additional functionalities such as topic enhancements, tokens, and collections will appear under the respective admin sections.
  2. Collections: This section allows you to create and manage Topic Collections. Collections help you group multiple topics together and display them in specific areas (widget zones) on the storefront.
  3. Help: The Help section provides quick access to plugin documentation and support.

Click on the Configure menu from the Advanced Topic Pages plugin menu as displayed above and you will be redirected to the plugin Configuration page as displayed below.

The Configure page has been simplified to include only the following:

  • Enabled - Checkbox to enable or disable the Advanced Topic Pages plugin. 

Once the Advanced Topic Pages plugin is successfully installed, the default Topic functionality in nopCommerce is extended with new fields and token support.
