NopAdvance Store

Allowing Outgoing Requests for NopAdvance Plugins

Some hosting providers block outgoing HTTP/HTTPS traffic by default. When this happens, NopAdvance plugins may fail to install or activate their licenses because they cannot connect to our licensing and installation services.

To ensure a smooth experience, whitelist the API endpoints listed below - or simply allow outgoing traffic to store.nopadvance.com.

No sensitive data, customer data, or order information is ever transmitted.

Required API Endpoints

1. Plugin Installation API

URL: https://store.nopadvance.com/api/installplugin

Purpose
Used during plugin installation to register a plugin instance and verify compatibility.

Data Sent

  • Store URL

  • nopCommerce version

  • Plugin system name

  • Plugin version

  • Store IP address

2. License Registration API

URL: https://store.nopadvance.com/api/registerlicense

Purpose
Validates your license key and binds it to your store domain.

Data Sent
Same as plugin installation, plus:

  • License key (validation only)

3. License Deregistration API

URL: https://store.nopadvance.com/api/deregisterlicense

Purpose
Used when you deactivate a plugin license or transfer it to another domain.

Data Sent
Same as plugin installation, plus:

  • License key (validation only)

Why These APIs Must Be Allowed

By whitelisting these URLs, you ensure:

  • Seamless plugin installation
  • Successful license activation
  • Smooth license transfers
  • No “license validation failed” or “plugin registration failed” errors
  • Proper support eligibility and update tracking

All requests use secure HTTPS with minimal, strictly technical metadata.

Whitelist Recommendation

You may either:

Option A - Whitelist the specific endpoints:

https://store.nopadvance.com/api/installplugin
https://store.nopadvance.com/api/registerlicense
https://store.nopadvance.com/api/deregisterlicense

Option B - Allow outgoing requests to the entire domain: store.nopadvance.com

This is easier and recommended.
