🛠️ How to Use - Smart Pricing Engine

The Smart Pricing Engine plugin is designed to integrate directly into nopCommerce’s existing Discounts section, making setup intuitive for store owners and administrators.

🔍 Where to Find It 

Navigate to:

Admin → Promotions → Discounts

Create or edit a discount as usual. Once installed, the Smart Pricing Engine options will appear inside the discount page as shown in the image:

We have added a Pricing strategy type option to distinguish between nopCommerce discounts and our smart pricing plugin functionality.

This plugin offers two features:

• Creating flash sale
• Defining pricing rules for products

Both using the existing discount module where you can use EXISTING DISCOUNT REQUIREMENTS to control the strategy for both Flash Sales and Price Rules.

🛠️ How to use Smart Pricing Features

1. Go to your nopCommerce discounts module.
2. Smart pricing options work only with following discount types:
   • Assigned to Products
   • Assigned to Categories
   • Assigned to manufacturers
3. Select a Pricing strategy type: All discount page fields work based on what you select as a pricing strategy.
   • Discount: This enables the default nopCommerce discount module.
   • Flash Sale: Overrides the discount fields to work according to the flash sale feature.
   • Price Rule: Override the discount fields to work according to the pricing rule feature.
4. Some fields from discounts do not work with flash sale or price rules, thus they are removed when you select flash sale or price rule as pricing strategy.
5. You can still use discount requirements along with other provided options.
