Email Notifications for Quote Statuses - Request a quote

The system automatically sends email notifications to both the customer and the store owner based on the status of the quote. Below is a summary of which email templates are triggered for each status:

  • Pending: When a customer submits a new quote, the following emails are sent:
    • Customer: Notifies the customer that their quote has been successfully submitted.
    • Store Owner: Alerts the store owner that a new quote has been received.

  • Processing: When the admin updates the quote or sends a revised quote, the following emails are triggered:
    • Customer: Informs the customer about the revised quote or changes made by the admin.
    • Store Owner: Confirms to the store owner that the quote has been updated and is now in Processing.

  • Cancelled: When a quote is cancelled by either the customer or admin:
    • Customer: Notifies the customer that the quote has been cancelled.
    • Store Owner: Alerts the store owner that the quote has been cancelled.

  • Complete: When a quote is accepted by the customer or manually marked as Complete by the admin:
    • Customer: Confirms to the customer that their quote has been successfully completed.
    • Store Owner: Notifies the store owner that the quote has been completed.

These email notifications ensure that both the customer and the admin are kept informed at every stage of the quote process.
